Serving the Community
Hoboken Catholic Academy is Hoboken’s only Catholic elementary school and is affiliated with St. Ann’s Church. In addition, we maintain strong ties to our former co-sponsoring parishes, Our Lady of Grace/St. Joseph, St. Francis, Sts. Peter & Paul in Hoboken and St. Lawrence in Weehawken. The school draws students from Hoboken, Weehawken, Jersey City, Union City, West New York, Bayonne, North Bergen and other towns. Located at 7th and Madison Streets. The school is only three blocks from the N.J. Transit Light Rail system, providing easy access via public transportation.
Each classroom, grades PreK3 through 8, is equipped with a SMART Board. SMART Boards are used throughout the day in each classroom to enhance the learning experience of the students. They are interactive and allow teacher and students access to all of the educational resources available on the worldwide web. In addition, Smart Tables are used in all PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten classrooms. The school has two mobile carts (one for each floor) containing 25 MacBooks each that are available to teachers and students on a regularly scheduled basis. These allow teachers to integrate technology into their respective curricula. The school has implemented the PowerSchool program that allows teachers to enter student data electronically and allows parents to view their student’s attendance data, progress reports and report cards. The school is 100% WiFI.
