Principal's Message

Dear Parent/Guardian,

First of all I want to thank those parents who have graciously volunteered their time to organize and assist with various school and PTA activities and events. A special “thank you” to the parents and teachers who volunteer their time for the sports program and after school activities. We are able to offer our students a variety of activities because of their generosity.

• A few reminders about school policies…

Late Arrival: All students in Grades K-8 are expected to be on their class line in the Gym no later than 8:15 a.m. He or she is considered late and this will be recorded in their attendance record. If the lateness is due to unavoidable factors, please inform us when the child arrives so we can determine if the circumstances warrant an “excused lateness.” Children in the Pre-K classes are expected to be in their classroom by 8:25 a.m.

Student Absence: If you child is absent you must call the school office, (201)963-9535, before
9:00 a.m. to report the absence. In addition, your child must bring in an absence note when he or she returns to school. If a child is absent for three or more consecutive days a doctor’s note should be presented upon the child’s return to school. If you plan on picking up your child’s assignments please call the school office by 12:00 p.m. so the teacher can prepare the needed materials...
