Dear Parents:
The Hoboken Catholic Academy Parent Teacher Association welcomes you to the 2011/2012 school year. We look forward to seeing familiar and new faces. The start of each school year brings new challenges and goals and we invite you to take part in them.
The mission of HCA’s PTA is to support and enrich every child’s learning experience through special programs, events and opportunities. Strong parental involvement and support is a long tradition at HCA. It’s through your participation we are able to achieve our mission. We also consider it vital that parents take an active role in their child’s education and establish a connection between home and school life.
As a Catholic School, our foundations are based in faith, academics, service and family. This year we would like to focus on service; how we can best serve our children, our school, and our community. There are several ways a parent can serve:
- Attend the monthly PTA meetings.
- Volunteer for one or more of our children’s activities/events.
- Volunteer to be a Class Parent.
- Attend and participate in HCA special events.
The PTA Board members are here to serve our fellow parents, our children and our school. We encourage everyone to serve in some capacity. We invite you to participate and be involved. Share your ideas, suggestions, skills, questions and concerns with us. We look forward to a great year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Danielle Manziano, President, PTA@hobokencatholic.org or ptadanielle@gmail.com
