Through Campus Ministry, Student Council, the National Junior Honor Society, HCA students participate in numerous service projects. The students involved in Campus Ministry identify a local need, create an action plan and fill the need.  Students collect food, toys and clothing for local food pantries, homeless shelters and hospitals and funds for disaster relief, the USO, and world missions.

The school choir, fifty strong, continues to be invited to sing at local Churches including the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark.  The HCA choir also sings at community events such as the Hoboken Winter Festival.
