DECEMBER GREETINGS

Dear Parents and Guardians,

December is the month of anticipating the Lord’s birth. This is the liturgical season of Advent, a time of preparing for the birth of Jesus. In the Grade 4 classroom, the focus is on the Jesse tree. Each day students learn the background of the symbol for the day. We should keep in mind that “JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON”.

There is another well-known quote from “The Velveteen Rabbit”  –  A toy is not a toy until it is loved by a child. Let us also reflect on the innocence of childhood. Jesus makes it simple – Love God with all your heart, mind, and strength and Love your neighbor as yourself.

This is the time of year when the focus of the students is on other things. Please encourage your child to remain focused on schoolwork also. I emailed all parents with the attire for the Christmas show from Ms. Campana for Grade 4 last week.

I hope that you all have a great December and a great Christmas with your families and friends.
