Welcome to Mrs. Ferrara's First Grade  Class!

Dear Parents,

Welcome to First Grade and a new school year! My name is Mrs. Joanne Ferrara and I will have the pleasure of being your child's teacher this year. This is a very important year in your child's education. In first grade, we learn so many important skills such as reading, writing, spelling, and math skills. We learn the skills that are needed to be successful learners including : study skills, organization, responsibility, problem solving and citizenship.

I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can send me a note in your child's folder, leave a message at school, or email me at jferrara@hobokencatholic.org

I'm looking forward to a great year!.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Ferrara
