Welcome to First Grade! Welcome to a new school year. My name is Mrs. Pat Peterson and I will have the pleasure of being your child's teacher this year. This is a very important year in your child's education. In first grade we learn so many important skills such as reading, writing, spelling and math skills. Your child will learn the skills that are needed to be successful learners including study skills, organization, responsibility, problem solving and citizenship. I am looking forward to a wonderful and productive year.
