Hello! I am Chelsea Mulrain and I will be 5th grade’s homeroom teacher. I will be teaching 4th and 5th grade Math, Science, and Religion! I am very excited to begin this journey with you and your kids! As we start the school year I want you to know that your children are my top priority. I hope to harvest a positive community in and out of the classroom! My goal is for students to develop a strong sense of care for others, themselves, and their academics! I know your child will bring something unique and important to my classroom!

In terms of academics, I plan to create an environment that children feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them. I value a growth mindset and hope to instill this in all of my students. I want your students to dream big, set goals, and strive for improvement in all that they do.

In our class I want students to develop a strong relationship with God and understand his presence in all of their lives. As I am teaching religion, I want to emphasize that students should feel comfortable and open to express their faith and to explore it.

Finally, I want to emphasize my goal in working closely with you. I am always welcome to suggestions and any key information you have about your child that will help me to make their learning experience one that fits them. I hope we can work together to create driven lifelong learners.

Thank You,

Ms. Mulrain
